Question

Cannot find "Enhance" in Camera Raw 13.3 on M1 Mac running macOS 11.2.3

I saw https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/enhance.html .

I am on Photoshop latest (13.3) on Mac Mini M1 (Big Sur 11.2.3)

When I go to Camera Raw, I do not see the "Enhance" menu entry.

Please advise?

If you have opened an image in Camera Raw, the plug-in, then right-click on the image and you will find the option.

It works if I open the image into Camera Raw from Bridge. I wish this worked from Mac Finder.

Although sometimes a JPG won't have the option to open into Camera Raw. I'm not sure why.

Now that I've played with the "Enhance" feature, I find it underwhelming. The 3rd party tool "Remini Enhance" is far better, especially for people's faces.

You CAN 'open' a raw from the Mac Finder directly into ACR/Photoshop and use this feature. Or not....

Bridge and PS "host" the ACR plug-in. And of course, you can use the Mac finder to select which hosts ACR to process that raw.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble while trying to access Enhance in Camera Raw. Would you mind telling us if you're trying to access the feature in Camera Raw when you initially open the image or by going to the Filter menu in Photoshop, then Camera Raw filter?

The option is not available while accessing the Camera Raw filter through the Filter menu in Photoshop. Please try accessing it when you open the file initially. If you're trying to work with a Jpeg file, you can enable the option to Automatically Open all supported Jpegs by going to the Preferences of Camera Raw, then File handling.

Let us know if this helps!

Regards,
