Canon RAW files(CR2)

When i was editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, I was trying to import Canon RAW files but when I pressed import, those pictures were not there but they were in my computer(I was trying to make a hyperlapse but I do not have lightroom so I wanted to select all the images and select image sequence to make it)Can anyone help me with Premiere Pro CC 2018 not accepting my Canon RAW files(CR2)?

    I think you need to create JPEG copies of those raw files and use those JPEG files with Premiere Pro.
