CR3 files wont open by double click on MAC

They will open if i drag them to PS, but not when I double click them. When I double click them, they just open in preview. Also, sometimes when I drag a bunch of CR3 files to PS it only show s part of them in Camera Raw.

They open in Preview as that is what is set, assigned, to open them. You can change that in the system preferences, IIRC.

Have you thought about using Adobe Bridge as your image file manager?

Could be your system is running out of memory to load all the images you have selected in Camera RAW. so it only loads part of them.
