crop tool fill preview area in camera raw

Prior to updating PS/Bridge/Camera Raw about 6 months ago or so (could easily be longer), when using the crop tool in CR, and after cropping an image (still in CR), the image would automatically adjust to fill the preview screen. It no longer does that. I must press Command Zero (Mac) to fill the preview screen.

How can I get CR to automatically fill the preview screen?
