Crop tool issues

When i use the crop tool, right after y finish selecting, the screen turns red and i cant keep working. I've done this a million times in other computers and this is the first time that i come across this issue. I didn't touch any kind of settings. Please help

    In the camera raw Preferences, uncheck Use Graphics Processor and see if that solves the issue.
