Cropped image in ACR

Hi, 

I have been cropping the image in PS and then opening the same in ACR to edit to date.

But since yesterday, whenever I open the cropped image from PS in ACR, it opens the original full image and not the cropped image. 

How can I fix this? Please help

In Photoshop for the Crop Tool Options make sure Delete Cropped Pixels is checked.

Thank you jeff for your reply. 

 

But i normally like to keep the original size (if in future can do a different crop size) so I dont use the deleted crop pixel.

till date it was working fine for me. just after the recent update of PS, when i crop the image in PS and thn take it to ACR, it opens the full original size and not the cropped image. Do you think this is a glitch after an update?
