Question

Curve settings, presets, and tuning has disappeared in Camera Raw 16.

In the previous versions I could tune the lastest point in the blacks and in the white, it's now "fixed" in the corners. I cannot find the setting access to save only a curve. And more than this, when I apply a curve preset I've made before, it's working on the photo, but the actual curve in ACR is exactly the same, and I cannot tune my preset...

The curve settings are gone?

Is it a "strategic" reason ? Like, Adobe prefer us to work on curves in photoshop more than ACR ?

I want to find a way to use an older version of ACR.

  • To save a custom Tone Curve, click the More icon at the bottom of the toolbar and choose Save Settings. Use the disclosure triangle to the right of the Curves option to save either a Parametric or Point Curve. Saving the Curve to the default location will enable Camera Raw to display the curve in the drop-down menu in the Curves panel (as well as make the custom curve available in Lightroom Classic). The Default locations are:
    • Mac (user)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Curves
    • Win (user)/Application Data/Adobe/CameraRaw/Curves

" to save either a Parametric or Point Curve."
these is no any possibility to choose Parametric or point. I have only very basic tunning on the curve in ACR. I don't know why it changes like that from the previous version. I want to use ACR 15 or 14.

thank you for your participation but the "trick" from 2022 work perfectly well with the 2022 version of Camera Raw, it doesn't with the actual new version.
