Question

DNG doesn't find my photos anymore

I have recently bought a new computer (Win 11) and am busy installing all my programs. I only run Lightroom 6 but this won't read my Z50 raw .NEF files so I have to use DNG converter. I installed the last version of DNG I was using (14.3?) but when I try to open the location of my photos it says 'No items match your search'. I checked for an update and installed version 15.3, but with the same results. Any ideas what is wrong?

Are you selecting the Folder with the Navigation Pane in File Explorer?

OK, it is now sorted, sort of. I managed to convert the files. Lightroom doesn`t like it when I take RAW and JPG together, as I think has been mentioned elsewhere. Neither does it seem to like it when the folder with the converted images was on my desktop -  I had to move it to my 'Pictures' directory, when it was perfectly fine before. Ah well, I can live with that. Thanks for the help..

Click on an entire folder. You can't convert individual files; only folders.

I'm clicking on the folder.
