Is there any way to see the Before and After, in terms of numerical readout?

Not that I know of in terms of numbers. Of course you can toggle on or off each edit and view visually. If you're on a Mac, you could hack this a bit by using the numbers output to the display (NOT the actual numbers of the data), using the Digital Color Meter utility.
