Question

Edited view in ACR not the same as saved result in Bridge

Hoping for some type of solution. I have an R5 MK2. I shoot raw and convert to tiff with pro photo rbg 16 bit, then further edit the tif. What I see in ACR during the edit and the later saved result in Bridge are not the same. I like what I see in ACR and not so much the saved result in Bridge. Any light shed on this would be much appreciated.

I guess you are editing your TIF files in Camera Raw?

ACR does not alter the pixels in your image it only changes how the image is perceived. Edits are saved in sidecar files which live alongside your images. If you want Bridge to see the changes you have made, you need to SAVE those changes into a new TIF. This burns in those changes so the results may be seen outside of ACR. (The same applies if you are editing JPEGs in Camera Raw.) From within ACR, click on the SAVE icon in the top right corner of the ACR window. You will then see a window that offers a number of save options where you may choose what is appropriate for your needs. You can also save these settings for future use.
