embedAuxFilesIntoXMP: unexpected failure: dng_error_unsupported_raw

Recently I switched from a Windows laptop to a Microsoft Surface Pro 11, running windows. When exporting photo that were taken in (Nikon) raw format, the following message appears:

embedAuxFilesIntoXMP: unexpected failure: dng_error_unsupported_raw

I did not have this issue on my laptop, and neither does it show when using the web version. As I have installed Lightroom a few days ago, I would expect to run the most recent version. My camera is a Nikon Zf Anyone have suggestions?
