Error opening a file in camera RAW

Hello,

I am trying to open a RAW file from Adobe Bridge to Camera RAW, but this doesn't work. It will open Photoshop, but no Camera RAW. And after that I can't click on anything in Photoshop. I've updated everything and tried other tips from this forum, but so far nothing is working.

I worked in Camera RAW last week and at that point everyting worked fine.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Try resetting the Camera Raw preferences:
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS*) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"

*On Ventura, it is now called "Settings".

So this works in Photoshop but not Bridge? If so, you should report this in the Bridge forum as that's likely the issue since Adobe Camera Raw works hosted by Photoshop. Some users have reported problems such with Bridge hosting Adobe Camera Raw while it runs fine hosted by Photoshop. Likely some kind of Bridge issue that can be addressed in that forum.

Thanks for your reaction.

It also doesn't work in Photoshop itself. Camera RAW won't open a file.
