Fit in View randomly unchecking

Question

With the newest update, Camera Raw keeps unchecking the Fit in View option (randomly, not with EVERY single image) and when I move from one image to the next, the image is either too zoomed in or not centered. Is this a bug? Some sort of settings change that I am just not aware of? It might seem like a mior thing but it is a HUGE hassle when you are dealing with 1000s of images and are already being inconvenienced but the new change where you can't click on a slider arrow to adjust.

Now that I am paying closer attention, it is when moving from a portrait to a landscape image or vice versa. Anyone know if this is a bug or some new "functionality" they've created to cater to some random non-issue?
