Question

From Bridge to Camera Raw - problem

I have trouble opening a RAW file (.raf) in Camera Raw from Bridge, to then make an edit in Photoshop. What pops up when trying is a text box showing "Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been licensed".

I have an active Photoplan licens, so it shouldn't be a problem. I have tried solutions such as:

- closing down Bridge

- opening Bridge through Photoshop

.. but with no luck.

What do I do?

I am working from a MacBook Pro 14 M1, and all apps are up to date

Can you open the raw, in Adobe Camera Raw from Photoshop?

Try resetting the Camera Raw preferences:
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"

Thank you so much! BUT

I have done excatly, what you asked me to. As I understand, after deleting the camera raw preference, I just hit 'OK' in the preference box right after, to get the window away. I then tried to open a photo in camera raw from bridge, and I get the same box as before.. 😞

Way, wait a minute!

I disovered it opens camera raw when clicking the photo, but when I try to open it by right clicking, and choosing the camera raw option, it won't let me. So it works, but still not very satisfying, if I want to open multiple photos in Photoshop. I guess I'll mark all the photos I want, and click one of them, and the rest will follow along
