Hand tool sticky Photoshop for MAC 26.7

Are you on the new macOS Tahoe 26 or Sequoia 15.5 (24F74)? It seems like you're using an older version of Photoshop; a newer version is available. I'd suggest updating the application. Also, could you share a screen recording of the issue? You can try out these quick fixes to see if they change anything.

1) Tap the Spacebar Again: Sometimes, the simplest solution works. Press and release the spacebar one more time. This can often "unstick" the Hand tool.

2) Disable "Flick Panning" in Photoshop: "Flick Panning" is a feature that allows you to "throw" the canvas and have it glide, but it can sometimes interfere with the Hand tool's normal behavior.

Go to Photoshop > Preferences > Tools.
Uncheck the box for Enable Flick Panning.
Restart Photoshop.

4) Reset Photoshop Preferences: Sometimes, a corrupted preferences file can cause all sorts of trouble. It is recommended that you back up your preferences before you reset them. For steps and more information, please refer to this HelpX article: Preferences in Photoshop.
