Question

How do I customize the workwspace in camera raw?

I am a new user of Bridge, Camera Raw and Photoshop.  I notice on several You Tube tutorials that in camera raw, the location of the tools are expaned across the top which seems more consistant with Photoshop.  In fact, I didn't really even notice that tools like those found in Photoshop even existed in Camera Raw, since they were down the right side in a conpressed format.  There seems to be no documentation regarding how to do this. Can someone give me a clue how to customize this workspace in Camera Raw?  I run this on a Windows 11 PC.  Thank you.

Maybe the videos are showing the old UI of Camera Raw (12.2.1 or earlier).  The old interface is much better and easier to use I think.  If your camera is supported you should try it-- you can download it here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

Not exactly sure what you're referring to but my suggestion would be to look at the Preferences, General, Panels and see if those options are what you're looking for.

Thank you for answering.  I have attached a screenshot of what I see when going into the settings icon.  Nothing there that allows any customiztion of the workspace.  I must be missing something!!  Is there another icon or menu that I am not seeing?  Thanks

This is what you can customize and what I'm referring to:
