I did not enjoy using the new version is there anyway to roll back to a version from six months ago?

No problem, just install ACR 11.4.1 (latest 11th version) over it. No need to uninstall anything.

If you wish to roll back to an older version, ACR installers can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html#12_x
If you also use Adobe Bridge, you will need to roll back to a previous version too, use the CC application, click on the three dots (...) and select “Other Versions”.

AND if you ever auto update Photoshop, it will update ACR so you'll need to archive that installer or plug-in and eventually, it will not run in modern versions of Photoshop.

Not that I know of. Also you would need to roll back Ps, IIRC.
