Hello. If I open a RAW file in Bridge is there a way to have the Use Profile Corrections always checked as default? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Apologies, maybe I didn't explain this properly. If I select the "Lens + CA Correction" preset then every time I open a RAW file those two boxes are checked and active, so no problem. However, if I then try to add a "Sharpening" preset, that "Sharpening" preset becomes active and over rides the "Lens + CA Correction" preset, which means that I seem to be able to have only one preset active at any one time. Am I doing something incorrectly? Any enlightenment would be most appreciated. Thanks.

1. Adjust the raw image how you want the default to be.

2. Create a new preset and pick whatever name you want for it.

3. Select that newly created preset as your raw default.

However, unless I'm mistaken, it seems that only one default preference can be saved at a time, you can't save more than one at any one time. If this is correct then it is aggravating. I hope I'm mistaken. If anyone knows a way to save more than one default preference please explain how. Thank you.

What do you mean by "only one default preference"?  You can create your own custom preset that does nearly anything you want.  You can set different presets for different camera models.  I don't understand your question.

Click on the gear icon upper right hand corner to open the Camera Raw Preferences dialog box and under Raw Defaults > Master, select which defaults you want to save as per the drop-down and fly-out menus. Please see photo.

Version 12.4 pre-installs some presets that can be used as raw defaults, including "Adobe Color + Lens", which should do what you want.

What do you mean by, "Use Profile Corrections"?

Hi Jim, thanks for your reply. Please view the photo. I'd like to set the default so that every time I open a RAW file in Bridge the "Use profile corrections" box is checked. Also, I'd like to set the default Sharpening at 25 instead of 40. Is there a way to do either of these? Thanks for any help.

Create you own preset that does this and select that.
