I cannot view my raw images from Canon 7D MII in Photoshop CS5

Question

I rented a Canon 7d mii, show in raw and now I cannot view the images.  I get a pop up box that says, "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw."
 
YIKES!  How can I fix this?    I've installed the lastest updates.

Hi,

The last version of Camera Raw that Photoshop CS5 can support is version 6.7. Please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-compatible-applications.html

However, support for the Canon 7D MII was introduced in Camera Raw version 8.7. Please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

You can convert the Raw files from the Camera to DNG using the Adobe DNG converter & then open them in Photoshop CS5. You can check out the DNG converter here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/adobe-dng-converter.html
