Question

Im unable to load camera raw settings.

I edited some pics in Photoshop, camera raw filter, and saved that preset to my computer. Then used those settings several days without any trouble.

Today I tried using it and it says "Unable to load the raw conversion settings" "There were no Camera Raw settings in the selected ".xmp" metadata file."

Why could this be happening? Has my saved filter broken? How can I fix it?

Hey, @zoegonzalez. Welcome to the Camera Raw community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

What version of Camera Raw & the operating system are you working on? Does this happen when applying the preset on a specific new image, or do all images behave similarly?

As a workaround to recreate the preset, open an image where the preset worked before & the edits are available, save the edits as a new preset.

Also, as you're on macOS, ensure your Adobe apps have the required permissions: https://adobe.ly/3OYBPBp;

Thanks!
