Image adjustments are spontaneously resetting back to as opened

Question

In the last 4 days, it has happened at least 4 times where I have made significant adjustments to an image in Camera Raw - on the Edit panel, a bunch of masks, cropping, created snapshots - the works... and the image just spontaneously resets itself to previous settings. I cannot say 100% but I think it has reset them to the settings that were there when it was last opened. The snapshots even disappeared. It is definitely not user error - I am not hitting anything that is causing this to happen and I cannot Command+Z to undo it. I haven't yet pinpointed exactly what tab I am on when it happens. Has anyone else experienced this?

The exact same thing happened to me and that’s why I came here, hoping to find an answer. I was doing comparison mode, and I clicked it on the before, and then I clicked over to another image in the film strip and then when I clicked back. I lost my ability to go to the after view. It’s stuck on the before. So I basically lost all my editing. I’m in the middle of trying to get a job out on a rush, so I’m wondering if anybody has an answer it would be great. Otherwise I have to redo all my editing.
