I did an adjustment in ACR on jepg, went great. But now the jpeg in Brdige opends still in ACR, though all done, I would prefer it defaulting straint to open in PS. thanks.
PS to open orginally in Bridge I did right click, open in ACR, but seems Bridege, "sees" there is a ACR adjustment in the file and then still opens it in ACR, not normal PS default, ie when click eneter to open.
When you edit in ACR but do not 'render' the edits, you just save them, these edit instructions are saved inside that JPEG. You need to use the Open command in ACR so a new JPEG is created from the original and those edits.
FWIW, this isn't an ideal workflow (editing a JPEG) and there is always severe data loss due to the JPEG compression. But if that's all you have, then doing this in ACR is best apporach. Again, after you apply edits in ACR, you need to apply them and that isn't done unless you open in Photoshop then save that as a NEW JPEG (or ideally a TIFF if you edit further).
