Latest camera Raw freezes photoshop with latest Nvidia Studio drivers

I was having a bug when using the latest camera Raw 15.11.1329, modifications where not rendered and once i returned to photoshop the software was unusable (couldn't zoom the image, just save).

- I re-installed the old camera raw but it did not solve the issue

- I had just updated my Nvidia studio driver so I tried reverting back

- After reverting the driver, I tried to do exactly the same modifications in camera raw and it everything works

Adobe, you should check compatibility with the latest studio drivers

Same issue here, but with Game Ready Drivers, not Studio. But anyway, Camera Raw has been updated a few days ago. Prior to this update, I had no issue.

So I'm still unsure about how it's only NVidia's issue. And it doesn't really matter actually. Computer software is more and more complex and intricate. It's the way it is. I hope Photoshop gets and update/fix soon that could address this issue, or NVidia finds something on their side. But yeah... not the best times to use Camera Raw currently 🙂

If turning OFF the GPU works, it's a GPU bug, and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it. This is why disabling GPU is an option as more and more functionality moves to the GPU in newer versions of many Adobe products.

Disable third-party graphics accelerators. Third-party GPU overclocking utilities and haxies aren't supported.
