leaving adobe camera raw using open as object does not carry the location of the file into photoshop.

using bridge to adobe camera raw and edit going to photoshop using open as object does not carry the file location with it as it does with just open. If this would be correct it would appreciate it as I use this feature. It would be helpful as well having the selection to open and open as object to until changed in other edits.

    This is why I asked about it,  can this from your programmers have this happen?

    Hi @davidpoling, thanks for reaching out! When you use "Open as Object" (holding Shift in the Camera Raw dialog to change the "Open Image" button), Photoshop creates an embedded Smart Object. Embedded Smart Objects store the entire image data within the PSD file; they don't maintain a link back to the original file on disk. That's why you don't see a file path in the Properties panel, there is no external reference to show. I hope this helps! ^CH
