Lightroom 1.4 has mask feature?

basically what the title says. I saw a tutorial for lightroom 5 and it mention some tools beneath the histogram which mine doesn;t have. I am wondering if 1.4 has mask features somewhere else

    I believe those features started appearing in Lightroom 2
