Losing sharpness when saving to jpg in Camera Raw

Hello,

I have never had this problem, but I am trying to save to jpg / tif a very sharp image of stars (which was taken in raw), and when I save it to jpg / tif it loses a lot of sharpness. I have been playing around but I was not able to solve the issue. I am attaching an example of what happens.

PS I just updated Camera Raw and it still happens (version 9.12.0.784).

Hi Annap,


Could it be that when you save as a jpeg you are compressing the file too much I.e making the file too small? It would be helpful if you told us the size of the original raw file and what you end up with when you save as a jpeg.
