Question

LR asking for Camera Raw 14.1 - updated days ago

Info - iMac (late 2015) OS 11.6.2, LR Classic 11.1, Camera Raw 14.1.

In LR when I attempt to edit in Photoshop 2022 a window appears that tells me I need Camera Raw 14.1. I am confused. Can anyone assist me in figuring out what I might have done wrong? I just upgraded my OS from Mojave so that I could update my Adobe apps and I have run into a few snags along the way but most I have been able to fix. I'm at a loss for this one.

 Thanks!

Hi there,

Sorry about the trouble experienced. Since, when are you seeing this issue? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? Would you mind updating your macOS to the latest version and check if that works?
Try uninstalling and re-installing the app with the help of the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool (LINK)and see if that helps.

Re-download Camera Raw14.1: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Thank you for the reply. I am not going to update past Big Sur at this time. The issue started after I updated all of the apps I was unable to update while still on Mojave. I am on satellite for internet and can only do bigger updates during my service's free zone 3 AM to 8 AM. I got started on one morning and then ran out of time. I think what happened is I may have downloaded Camera Raw 14.1 the day before I downloaded Photoshop and Lightroom. Photoshop may not have been able to recognize the CR update or something. I downloaded CR 14.1 again and now everything is working okay. Thanks ~
