What MAC OS do I need to open and convert Nikon NEF files from a D810 and Z50?

Can those converted files be used by Aperture running on a 10.7.5 MAC OS?

You can use any macOS 10.13 High Sierra and newer to run the necessary 12.1 dng converter for the

Nikon Z50 nefs and that would also cover the Nikon D850 nefs as well, which requires at least the

9.12 dng converter or newer.

D850 and Z50 nefs converted using macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and DNG Converter 14.0.1 then imported with Aperture 3.6 running on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.
