New Behavior: no longer "remembers" Invert setting for masking

I think this is a bug. At the very least, it's different than the previous version of ACR:

ACR 14.0 no longer "remembers" the Invert setting for the mask, regardless if "Reset Sliders Automatically" is enabled or not.

Additionally, a masking adjustment preset doesn't include the "invert" setting. For example:

I can save an adjustment preset with slider settings, but if the mask is "inverted" the effect is the opposite unless I recheck the "invert" button each time I bring up the mask preset.

Previously, if the "Invert" setting was carried along with the slider settings. Please see if this can be fixed.

This is the new behavior and is as designed.

On the desktop, there are keyboard shortcuts to make it easy to invert, however.  It should also be possible to invert prior to creating a new mask component.  For example, in ACR:
  • press J to select radial filter tool
  • press X to invert
  • drag to create an inverted RF

Yes, I noted the keyboard shortcut. Having to add a keystroke is inconvenient when one wasn't required before. (See also: resetting zoom after cropping, which was FINALLY addressed. Yay!)

- However, shouldn't the invert setting be part of the preset as well?

- In addition, unchecking the reset sliers box should also affect the invert setting. This could be easily revised in a future version of ACR.

Should I submit this as a feature request instead?

I think a feature request would be a good idea, Wes.
