I just purchased a Canon Powershot C5 X. Shot some photos in raw. Have used raw on my EOS 5D for years. I believe I have installed Raw 11.2 and I also installed DNG Converter. What di I need to do so in can open the raw files in CS6 ?

The G5 X has been supported since Camera Raw 9.3

However Bridge CS6 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to 8.7.1. There will be no more updates to CS6 for newer camera Raw files. You'll need Bridge CC with a Cloud plan for that.

So Bridge CS6 can only read the DNG files converted from the G5 X Raw files - so you'll have to use the DNG converter on all your Raw files.
P.S. Bridge CS6 can read EOS 5D Raw files - no issues there.
