New laptop won't import user presets - xmp files to Adobe Camera Raw

I have a new laptop and am trying to pull my ACR camera raw presets from my desktop. I have saved them as .xmp files and sent them to my new compuiter to import, but when I follow the import process the .xmp files are grey and wont be selected. They are 5KB each. Help!?

Virtually every necessary, at least on a Mac is here:

/Users/~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

See if you can find a similar folder with all kinds of subfolders with saved items (camera presets, user presets, etc).

Try moving from that location to the new Mac.
