Opening JPGs into Camera Raw 9.1.1 in Bridge/CS6

I am unable to open jpegs or TIFFs into camera raw through Bridge CS6. Camera Raw preferences are unavailable.

The error message reads: "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. CR editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature."

I get that message when I click on Camera Raw Preferences and when I use command R.

CR works in Photoshop when I open a jpg or Tiff file in the Camera Raw format.

I am using OS 10.10.5 and Camera Raw 9.1.1.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi NajibJoeHakim,

    You may try and reinstall the Photoshop CS6 on your machine and check if that helps.

    Also, check if you are using the latest version of Photoshop CS6.

    I am reluctant to re-install CS6. It works pretty well now despite a few quirks and I don't want to risk having greater problems if I try to re-install. Esp. since Adobe offers no significant support for this product.

    I'm using v. 13.0 of CS6. Are there updates? How can I find them?
