Out of memory errors in ACR after last update

After ACR 16 & Br 14, I am getting almost always out-of-memory errors, and then GPU gets disabled. I need to restart Br. System and GPU RAM are 24GB and 8GB.

 

 

A very unreasonable situation... Any ideas?

      Thanks for the lead.

       

      It seems that disabling "Use GPU for Open and Save" works.
