Parsing Error in Camera RAW

Just purchased a Canon R6 Mark ii and shot some pictures in RAW and JPEG of my son's basketball game.  Got home, offloaded the pics onto my hard drive and tried to convert to DNG like I did with my old camera RAW files.  Every file shows the error message "There was an error parsing the file."

Thought it might be the new memory card I purchased but I took some test shots on the old memory card but files from both get the same error, so I'm thinking it may be something with the camera?

I have an Adobe subscription, so the version of Camera Raw is the latest.  Windows 11.
