Phase One IQ# Trichromatic 16 bit files

When is Adobe going to support Phase One IQ3 Trichromatic 16 bit files? I can get thumbnails in Windows Explorer and not Bridge for crying out loud. Camera Raw won't open them. Get you act together Adobe.

JimHess whoops! I thought you had just referred to the PS forum here. I clicked thru and realized it's a whole different site! I signed up and posted more or less the technical point of this thread. Thanks for the suggestion!

Preliminary support for this camera was added in the latest release of Camera Raw, 10.4.

    Hi,

I am guessing you are attempting to open files with the .eip extension. If so, you can work around this by making a copy (for backup) and then renaming the extension on the copy to .zip. This will allow you to open the zip file in Windows Explorer and extract the .IIQ file which Bridge and Camera Raw should be able to read. I realize this is not the most ideal solution, but I tried this on my machine and it works.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    - Chris

I am not dealing with .eip files and never use them. What would be ideal would include Adobe getting [removed by moderator] and and recognize IQ3 trichromatic files.

    Hi,

Would you mind posting a sample IIQ file to Dropbox or similar and posting a link here. I'm happy to download it and confirm whether I can open the file in Camera Raw or not.

Also, which version of Camera Raw are you using?

    Thanks,

    - Chris

I am not at all familiar with the Phase One line. Is this a new model. You can check this list for the models that are currently supported. If the model you are asking about is new then it could be supported in an upcoming update.
