Photoshop blocked when camera raw filter is lanched

Hi,

I've been facing this problem for at least two weeks and no one has managed to solve it.

I open Photoshop and I open an image (it's the same problem with raw or jpegs), then i launch Camera Raw filter and nothing happens, but Photoshop stops to respond to commands. The only option I have is to force its arrest.

My environment:

laptop with windows 10 22h2 build 19045.5965

13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz

32 GB of RAM

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with the latest driver

Photoshop 26.8.1

Latest version I tried of Camera Raw is 17.4

I've tried, with the assistance of Adobe staff several things.

I reinstalled both Photoshop and Camera Raw, I disabled the GPU or only some functions, I deleted camera raw settings and restarted, I shift+clicked lancing camera raw, nothing worked.

It works if I install version 14.5 of Camera Raw, but it's not a good solution, since I miss all new functionalities.

I've also tried with Adobe cleaner tool, removing Photoshop and Camera RAw and installing them again.

And I'm annoyed by the fact that every time i start a conversatin using the chat this inevitably ends when I have to go away and I need to start from scratch exlplainig my problem... and I am suggested to do things that I already have tried....
