Please Help! DNG tag "NoiseReductionApplied" Does Not Work

Dear Adobe,

I tried to modify the DNG "NoiseReductionApplied" tag before going through the Android DNG Creator (tried to change parameter to 0.5 and 1.0). When I opend the modified DNG file using Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom, I didn't see any difference between the modified picture and the unmodified one. Theoretically, the modified picture would appear smoother and less noisy, right?

Anyone can help? Thanks.
