Presets only showing sometimes

I have a set of presets that show up when I'm editing photos directly from my harddrive but when I open a file locally on my computer the presets don't show up. However, when I try to save a preset with a name of a preset that doesn't show up, I get an error saying that the preset doesn't exist -- why do

Hi there,

Sorry that presets in Camera raw app are appearing only randomly. Could you please let us know the version of Photoshop/ Camera raw you're using?

Also, when the presets do not appear correctly, do a set of specific presets don't show up or is it just random?
