problem opening camera raw in photoshop for the second time

When I edit a photo in Photoshop for the first time, Camera Raw works properly. When I want to open it again, I get strange colors in the picture and Camera Raw won't open. Does anyone have an idea for a solution ?

    Hey, @gidib. Welcome to the Camera Raw Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share a video of this behavior & the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

     

    Before troubleshooting, update Photoshop & Camera Raw to the latest version v25.9 & v16.3 via the Creative Cloud desktop app & check if the issue exists. 

     

    If that does not help, try this:

    In Photoshop, press & hold the CTRL + ALT key and go to Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw Preferences and select 'Yes' when prompted to reset Camera Raw preferences.
