Problems with patch / heal tool in ACR 13.0

The heal/patch tool no longer shows the source of the heal/patch, it just applies some type of selection automatically.  If you hit the / key it simply cycles through a series of different selections, still not showing you the source point - meaning, you can't select/modify the source point yourself.

This makes heal/patch now completely useless.

Am I doing something wrong?  It didn't [not] work like this prior to the update.

I found a fix.

Reset your Camera Raw Preferences

Solved: adjustment brush in camera raw not working - Adobe Support Community - 12129987

Try a Reset of the Camera Raw preferences: Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows). Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?" See also: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/camera-raw-settings.html

I'm having the same issue. I just installed today and am trying to retouch some photos. This completely breaks the heal/cloan tool in ACR for me. I don't see a way to toggle that back on.
