"Quick zoom" functionality lost with ACR 12.3?

In ACR 12.2, no matter what tool was in use, pressing the Option key (Mac) and using the scroll wheel would zoom the view in or out. This was VERY convenient.

In version 12.3, pressing the option key doesn't seem to have any effect with a tool that uses a brush (e.g., Spot Removal and Adjustments Brush.)

 

Am I missing someting? If not, please return this funciton to ACR 12.3!

This issue is STILL not fixed in ACR 13.0. All I ask is that ACR's zooming functionality be consistent with Photoshop. Is that too much to ask?

There seem to be numerous things that don't work quite right in Camera Raw 12.3. The word is that Adobe is working on a fix. As of right now, the only remedy is to revert to the previous version for the time being. Here is the link:
