RAW customizations will not be saved

Hello there,

I have a problem with Camera Raw. There I process the photos and save them as JPG. After that, I close Camera Raw with "Close". So it usually stores all the customizations in an XMP file.

Well, just under a day later, all XMP files are still in place. See here:

However, all are empty and when loading this error message is made:

XMP file is virtually blank:

The problem has sometimes been occurring for a long time. Mostly not. However, it is tedious when 100 photos have to be made twice.
