Slight screen flicker

I've a Mac Studio M1 and Studio Display. When I Camera Raw to make edits on a smart object, the whole screen flickers slightly for a few seconds. I don't see this in any other application or OS. Sometimes it persists after closing ACR and returning to the active PSD document. I tried to do a screen-record, but it did not record the flicker.

THanks Noel.

I reset the GPU and updated the software. So far, it seems to be stable...thanks so much.

Hi @gargiulo! Thank you for sharing the system info. Did you have a chance to try the suggestion above? Additionally, please try updating your operating system. A newer version is out: What's new in the updates for macOS Tahoe - Apple Support.

Please update and check if the problem is solved.

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks Noel. Attaced is the system info you requested.

I've been noticing it for at least a few months...I can't pinpoint it having with any update.

How do I attach a file, I don't see that option. I can add a photo and video, but the file is too long to take a screenshot.

I will try and reset the GPU in Camera Raw.

Hi @gargiulo! You can share the file via a public file-sharing platform (Google Drive, WeTransfer, etc.) via a link.

Hi @gargiulo! Thank you for reaching out! Could you please share your system info? In Photoshop, from Help > System info > Copy and paste it into a text/Word document, and attach that with your response. Also, since when have you been noticing this issue? Maybe after an update to the OS or the application?

Meanwhile, you can try this fix and see if it resolves the issue. In your Camera Raw preferences> Performance > Click on "Reset GPU Support" (please refer to the screenshot). Quit all Adobe applications and relaunch.

Thanks a bunch!

Noel
