I had these for years, some reason don't them or don't work anymore:

1-  select all, (says command A, but not working for me)

2 - sync setting withou the box coming up. (don't see offered at all anymore)

Thanks, MAC

Well, it's good that you tried that, as that's an easy check, and if it had been the problem, you could have been banging your head against the wall trying to find a different solution. So how about trying to install an older version of Camera Raw, and see if it works? You can get some older versions from this link:

Thanks Chuck, not so important to do wild goose chase. So may just have to mouse select all until ever goes away

Thanks, the reset preferences, sadly did not help the command A work, (to select all).

Baffling as I 've never seen command A not select all in an app before.

I agree with Jeff. When something odd happens that other users aren't reporting, it's often the preferences. They can get corrupted easily, especially on new installs. It's always the first thing I do when things go south on me.

Resetting the camera raw preferences won't hurt anything and there is always the possiblity that the camera raw preferences got corrupted.

See if resetting the camera raw preferences makes any difference.

Thanks, Jeff, I don't reset preferences anymore unless the poster says he had same issue and that fixed it. Resetting preferences, is a long time catch all which means, " I have no idea what the issue is but do this". And fails 99% of time.

What version of photoshop, camera raw and macOS are you using?

What about other keyboard shortcuts in camera raw, do they work?

Do keyboard shortcuts work in photoshop itself?

Jeff, ACR 11

PS cc 2019

10.01.6 Mojave

Ok keystokes work in PS

And  Option Shift  S is doing sync with bringing up box. But Command A not selecting all. Very frustrating.

Command A does select all normally,  it's global select all in other apps...

Thanks Jeff.

1- yes option shift S works thanks. But does not work and command A not working either. I did get a Magic Mac cordless keyboard recently could that be culprit?

No problem here with ctrl-A on windows. If you recall, what was the last version of ACR that offered sync settings without the popup box? I don't recall ever seeing that, but maybe I can load an old version to see.

Hi there,

Are you referring to the synchronisation window that comes up when you sync settings between multiple images?

I just tried using the Sync settings and Select All using the keyboard shortcut (Control+A for Windows and Command+A for Mac) and both worked as expected for me.

You can try to uninstall the Creative Cloud cleaner tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html) and re-install Camera Raw using the link mentioned below.
