Question

Wacom pen becomes unresponsible in Camera Raw ( Mac OS X )

Hi, I am facing this issue using a Wacom tablet in Camera Raw. When I start the program, the tablet pen works fine. After a few of minutes, the pen becomes erratic and unresponsible and I have to detach the table and reconnect it to work again. In some forums a suggested solution is to disable GPU acceleration, but this is useless in my case ( and it slows heavily the software )

Mac OS X Ventura 13.6.9
Camera Raw 16.4.0.1906
Wacom tablet model PTH-860 ( Intuos Pro ), driver version ( Wacom Center ) 6.3.46-1

Sorry: I mean "unresponsive" instead of "unresponsible"

Hey, @alfonsot54023505. Welcome to the Camera Raw Community. I'll help you figure this out.

The Wacom Intuos Pro has two connection modes: USB cable or Bluetooth. How is the device connected?

Try resetting the Wacom driver settings & prefer using USB over Bluetooth.

Please update Camera Raw to the latest version, v16.5, via the Creative Cloud desktop app.

If it is a GPU issue, updates & fixes to the GPU are delivered through macOS updates only. If you're working on macOS Ventura, try updating the latest version of macOS Sonoma and check if the issue exists.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
