Question

What are "partially compatible presets"?

I am retying to create a new Raw Defaults preset for my camera. I have successfully created these in the past. But when I create them today I cannot find them. No error message when creating. Just nothing.

Then I notice a menu choice "Show Partially Compatible Presets" and when I click this I see the many presets (with different test names) that I was creating but they are grayed out.

What is a partially compatible preset? How do I create a "usable" Raw Defaults preset? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Peter

OK, after some fiddling I was able to save a Raw Defaults preset. BUT I had to choose a different Profile. I was trying ot save a Camera Matching Profile and that didn't work (or rather the preset was saved but grayed out and as a "partially compatible" preset). If I chose an Adobe Raw profile then I could create a Raw Defaults profile that was nort "partially compatible". Duh.
