What does "camera mathcing profile" mean?

In the **scam email address**x webpage called "cameras supported by camera raw," there is a chart with the column-heading, "Camera Matching Profile Available." What is this column about?

As part of the process of creating a photo image from a Raw file, a color profile has to be applied. For each supported camera model Adobe supplies a set of such profiles, however they are not identical to the profiles created by the maker for use in the camera firmware for the processing of jpgs; therefore ACR also has, in many cases, a second set which attempts to closely emulate the maker's profiles. These are the Camera Matching Profiles.
