Windows 11 reboots after using the reduce noise filter (with AI) in Camera Raw

Perhaps someone can help me out here. I'm using the latest version of PS and Windows 11. The minute I want to denoise a DNG image in Camera Raw (with AI) the machine shuts down and Windows reboots.

Hi Eric,

The most recent drivers are installed for the AMD Radeon 6700 XT GPU.

Your GPU has 12GB VRAM so should be more than adequate to run Adobe's AI functions.

Windows rebooting is symptomatic of a hardware problem however.

A couple of things you could try:

Switch off the GPU - From Adobe Bridge select Edit>Camera Raw Preferences>Performance>Use Graphics Processor>Off and see if that makes any difference.

Reset Camera Raw Preferences - From Adobe Bridge, hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Camera Raw Preferences. You will see a dialogue from where you can delete the preferences.

Hopefully one or other of these options might help you.

Which GPU are you using?

How much VRAM does it have?

Have you sourced the most recent GPU driver?

Windows persistently rebooting points towards a hardware issue.

What do you mean by sourced the most recent driver. How can I check this?

Look on the GPU manufacturer's website for drivers. You didn't tell me which GPU you have so I can't narrow it down for you.
