With the new upgrade of Photoshop, when I try to open a jpeg file, it opens in Camera Raw. even though I changed the settings, rebooted Photoshop and rebooted my Mac laptop.

Question

At the moment I don’t shoot in raw and do not want Photoshop to open in Camera Raw. I have tried the various suggestions and rebooted both photoshop and my Mac laptop but it still opens my jpeg files in Camera Raw. Any suggestions on how I can top Photoshop opening in Camera Raw would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Look in Camera Raw Preferences and check that JPEG Support is disabled. You might also check Bridge Preferences under File Type Associations and see what you have there for JPEG files.
