I have a form in Acrobat DC  - the form fields feed into a data matrix barcode - when i scan the barcode it looks like this

777777799999MS2334WASHER912/15/16100YesYes3Q127/18.  I need a tab between the fields so when i scan the barcode in excel they will fill in cells across a row. The code looks like this - any help would be great - thanks

  1. if ( app.viewerVersion >= ADBE.PMD_Need_Version )
  2.    event.value = strTabDelimited({oDoc: this, aFields: ["A1", "A2", "A3", "A4", "A5", "A6", "A7", "A8", "A9", "B1", "B2", "B3"], bFieldNames: false});
  3. else event.value = " ";

    Are you certain the values will take up exact character counts? In your example there are many bits of data, 7 7's, 5 9's, etc. Will each "column" of data always take up the same number of characters?
